A 22-year-old man allegedly shot at a relative of his to-be wife in southeast Delhi's Shaheen Bagh, the police said today.
The incident took place yesterday. Police were informed about a man, Mohd Afshan, who had sustained gunshot injury on the right side of chest, they said.
Mohd Seejan, Afshan's brother, told police that Danish had fired on his brother while they were on their way home along with one Ryan alias Mona, the police said.
A case was registered in the matter.
Danish, who is admitted to a private hospital, alleged that he was beaten by Afshan and some others with iron rods.
Police are probing the allegations from both the sides. The reason for the incident is not clear yet.
