Manginapudi beach to be developed as tourist spot

Manginapudi beach near here in Krishna district will be developed as a tourist spot at a cost of Rs 40 crore, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Excise and BC Welfare K Ravindra said.

All necessary infrastructure will be developed at the beach at a cost of Rs 40 crore to make it popular among tourists, he said.

The Minister visited the beach and discussed its development plan with officials concerned.

Resorts, food courts and other amenities are to be developed at about 150 acres of land at Manginapudi soon, he said.

Later, Ravindra laid foundation stones for dividers, centre lighting system, construction of new CC roads and construction of new drains at various spots under Machilipatnam Municipal limits.
 

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said various development activities will be taken up in Machilipatnam.
