Marathon run held in connection with Jaya's birthday

Ruling AIADMK today organised a marathon run here today in connection with the birthday of party supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, that falls on February 24.

Organised by AIADMK's South Chennai unit, students and young men and women ran for about 12 kilometers from Besant Nagar beach to MGR's samadhi on the sands of Marina beach.

Mayor Saidai Duraisamy, party leaders Visalakshi Nedunchezian, VP Kalairajan, Gokula Indira were among those who felicitated the marathon winners.
