Mariah Carey will not sing at her upcoming wedding

Singer Mariah Carey has no plans to sing at her wedding to billionaire fiance James Parker.

The 46-year-old singer said she finds singing at her own wedding "obnoxious," reported People magazine.

"Why would you sing at your own wedding," she asked. "It's obnoxious!"

The "Hero" hitmaker got engaged to the Australian businessman in January. She has been keeping details of their upcoming nuptials secret.

Carey has four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with her ex-husband Nick Cannon.
