A woman was allegedly killed by her husband and in-laws after she failed to fulfil their dowry demands in Shamli district, the police said today.
Renu, wife of Sourabh (30), was poisoned yesterday, according to a complaint filed by her father, SHO Raj Kumar said.
He claimed his daughter, who married Sourabh two years ago, was being harassed for dowry.
A case was registered against Sourabh, his father, mother and one other relative. The accused are on the run, the SHO said.
