Matsyafed wins National award

Kerala State Cooperative Federation for Fisheries Development (Matsyafed) has bagged the Best Federation Award, the National Award for the best Federation in Fisheries Cooperatives in India.

Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh presented the award to V Dinakaran, Chairman, Matsyafed, at New Delhi yesterday to commemorate the World Fisheries Day.

V G Kishor Kumar, Managing Director, R. Austin Gomez, Board Member Matsyafed, and other officials from Matsyafed were among those present, a press release said.
