Melanie Griffith will always love Antonio Banderas

Actress Melanie Griffith says she is still in love with her ex-husband Antonio Banderas.

The 59-year-old star shared a sweet message for the actor on Instagram to wish him on his 56th birthday.

Happy Birthday to my ruggedly handsome ex husband @antoniobanderasoficial.... I will always love you..," Griffith wrote.

The actress and Banderas, who ended their 19-year-long marriage in December 2015, have their birthdays just one day apart, August 9 and 10, respectively.

Banderas also posted a message for the "Roar" star on his Twitter a day before her ex-wife's post along with a picture of himself, Griffith and their daughter, Stella.
 

"Happy birthday Melanie. A loving hug from Marbella," he wrote.
