Men break wall to kidnap teen-aged girl

A group of unidentified persons allegedly kidnapped a teen-aged girl by breaking open the 'kuccha' wall of her house in Banjari village in Palamau district, police said today.

The abductors came on four motorcycles came late last night in the village, that falls under Patan police station, and knocked the door of the girl's house, Superintendent of Police Mayur Patel today said.

The 15-year-old girl, who was living with her grandmother and siblings, did not open the door but the men broke open a wall and abducted her, the SP said.

The reason behind the kidnapping or the identity of the abductors was not established as yet, Patel said, adding an FIR was lodged by the girl's grandmother.
 

Police have launched a hunt to apprehend the culprits, the SP said.
