Mentally-challenged boy sodomised by neighbour youth

An eight-year-old mentally challenged boy was today allegedly sodomised by a youth here in the district, police said.

The victim's father lodged a complaint, alleging that the 20-year-old accused, identified as Salman and a resident of their locality, sodomised his son following which he was arrested, police said.

During the interrogation, the accused admitted to having sodomised the minor, police said, adding a case was registered under section 377 of the IPC.
