Mentha oil prices fell 0.35 per cent to Rs 950.20 per kg in futures trade today as speculators preferred to book profits at prevailing levels amid subdued spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in September was trading lower by Rs 3.40, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 950.20 per kg with a business volume of 1,660 lots.
Similarly, mentha oil for August delivery drifted by Rs 2.70, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 938.50 per kg with a business turnover of 2,008 lots.
The fall in mentha oil prices at futures trade was largely due to profit-booking by speculators and weak trend at spot market on subdued demand.
