Continuing its rising streak for the third straight day, mentha oil prices were trading higher by 0.32 per cent at Rs 1,031 per kg in futures trading today as participants engaged in enlarging their positions, driven by rising demand at domestic spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in January advanced by Rs 3.30, or 0.32 per cent to Rs 1,031 per kg in a business turnover of 109 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in February traded higher by Rs 2.10, or 0.20 per cent to Rs 1,039.50 per kg in 48 lots.
