 "Mentha oil up 0.3% on rising demand")
Extending gains for the second straight day, mentha oil prices advanced by 0.35% to Rs 861 per kg in futures trading today as participants enlarged positions on the back of rising demand.
Besides, tight stocks position on restricted supplies from producing regions fuelled the uptrend.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in April rose by Rs 3, or 0.35% to Rs 861 per kg in a business turnover of 56 lots.
On similar lines, the oil for delivery in far-month May gained Rs 2.80, or 0.32% to Rs 871 per kg in 22 lots.
Analysts said besides rising demand from consuming industries in the spot market, less supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh kept mentha oil prices higher at futures trade.
