Kota was today the hottest place in Rajasthan, recording 43.4 degree Celsius followed by Churu (41.8 degrees).
According to MeT department, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Barmer recorded a maximum of 41.1, 40.1 and 40.7 degrees Celsius respectively while day temperatures at other places was below 40 degrees.
Parts of Bikaner division received light rainfall whereas the weather remained dry in other areas.
Duststorm with light rainfall is likely to occur at isolated areas in the state during next 24 hours, the department added.
