Minor gangraped, 2 held

Two persons have been

arrested allegedly for gang raping a minor girl in Virkham village under Patamda police station, a senior police officer today said.

Addressing a press conference here today, Senior Superintendent of Police, Amol V Homkar said the hapless woman was working her field, about 2 km from her village, alone on Sunday last when the accused Hemant Hansda and Debulal Hansda commited the crime.

The family members of the victim lodged a written complaint against the Hansda duo after she narrated the incident to her family members last night, Homkar said adding that a police team conducted raid in the village and arrested the accused.
