Minor girl kidnapped in UP; none arrested

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by a man from her house in Gunamayi village under Kotwali Nayagaon, police said.

The accused, Pyare Lal, had kidnapped the teenager on January 13, they said.

An FIR was lodged on the basis complaint filed by victim's father yesterday.

Neither the girl has been tracked down nor the accused held. Further investigation is underway, police said.
