Minor girl raped by 40-year-old man in UP

A seven-year-old girl has been allegedly raped in Madhotanda area here, police said today.

The incident took place last evening when the girl had gone to a grocery shop and one man, identified as Tabazzam (40) forcibly took her to secluded place and raped her, they said.

Later, family members and locals gheraoed the police outpost demanding immediate arrest of the accused.

Police, later nabbed the accused and has sent the victim for medical examination.
