A 35-year-old man, who had gone missing three days ago, was found dead in Modi Nagar area here this morning, police said.
"Sanjay's body was found near Rori village. Some injury marks have been found on his body which suggest he might have been murdered," a police officer said.
Sanjay had gone to work on January 22, but not returned home, police said.
Based on a complaint filed by Sanjay's family, a case was registered against unknown persons at Modi Nagar police station, they said.
Police are trying to ascertain the cause of his death and further investigation is on, they said.
