BJP MLA from South-Nagpur Sudhakar Kohle was today unanimously elected as the new president of the Nagpur unit of the party.
He replaced East-Nagpur MLA Krishna Khopde.
At a party meeting at its office in Mahal in Eastern part of the city, outgoing president Khopde proposed the name of Kohle which was unanimously accepted.
Also present on the occasion were MP Ajay Sancheti, city BJP legislators - Sudhakar Deshmukh (West), Milind Mane (North), Vikash Kumbhare (Central), Girish Vyas (MLC) along with former Mayor Archana Dehankar, a party release said.
Local party leaders Shrikant Deshpande, Pramod Pendke, Kirti Ajmera and others were also present, it said.
