MNF demands resignation of minister

Opposition Mizo National Front (MNF) today demanded resignation of Health Minister Lalrinliana Sailo following allegations against him of involvement in drug trafficking.

"All MNF leaders will meet on Monday and pressurise the minister to resign," MNF said in a statement.

MNF alleged that a drug licence was used for smuggling drugs to neighbouring Myanmar with the knowledge of the minister.
