MNS candidate elected as NMC standing committee chairperson

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena nominee Salim Shaikh was declared elected as chairperson of standing committee of the Nashik Municipal Corporation in elections held today.

Shaikh defeated his nearest rival and RPI candidate, Prakash Londhe by six votes.

Shaikh polled 11 votes while Londhe got five in the 16-member Committee.
