Movie Artists Association condoles demise of Jyothi Lakshmi

Movie Artists Association today condoled the death of veteran South Indian actress Jyothi Lakshmi.

MAA President Rajendra Prasad said Lakhsmi enthralled the people with her dancing and acting skills.

Jyothimeena, was not keeping well for some time, breathed her last in Chennai today.

A trained dancer, she had acted in about 250 south Indian films and starred along top stars of the four regional languages.

"I offer my sincere and deepest condolences to the family of Jyothi Lakshmi. It is really shocking that she is no more. There are very few actors in this country whom people would never forget and she is one among them," Prasad said.
 

Hindupur MLA and actor Balakrishna said, "She was a versatile actress and her demise is a big loss to the cine industry.
