Landmark Group today announcedthe appointment of Rajeev Krishnan as Managing Director of Max Hypermarkets India.
He has taken over from Viney Singh who will continue on the board of the company as a Non-Executive Director, a company statement said.
Rajeev has over 29 years of global experience withstrong retail and consumer background at Target, Wal-Mart and Mckinsey and Company, it said.
Prior to this, he was Senior Advisor for Mckinsey's retail and consumer practices.
As Managing Director, Rajeev has the mandate to guide and direct the strategy and execution of the Hypermarket and Supermarket business of the SPAR Brand in India, and shall report to the Board of Max Hypermarket (A Landmark Group Company) - franchisee of SPAR India.
The SPAR Brand is operated by Max Hypermarkets in India (A Landmark Group Company) and operates 17 Hypermarkets across the country.
