Madhya Pradesh offers immense investment scope in fast emerging sectors like tourism and pharmaceutical research, Chief Minister Kamal Nath told US Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster Wednesday.
Juster called on Nath at a convention centre here and during the meeting the two leaders discussed issues related to world peace, terrorism and business, officials said.
They described it as a courtesy meeting.
Nath told the US envoy Madhya Pradesh offers immense scope for investment in fast emerging sectors like tourism and pharmaceutical research, an officer of the government's Public Relations Department said.
The Chief Minister said US companies can tap opportunities for mutual cooperation and trade intervention in the state.
Madhya Pradesh provides supportive infrastructure and conducive environment for pharmaceutical research, Nath said.
Juster was accompanied by a delegation.
