Delhiites had to contend with sweaty conditions today as rainfall eluded the national capital and the mercury settled three notches above normal.
The maximum temperature settled at 36.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal and marginally higher than the 36.3 degrees recorded yesterday.
"The city received no rainfall today. However, it was a breezy day, which offered respite to Delhiites," said a weather official.

The minimum was recorded at 27 degrees, a notch above the normal for this time of the year.
According to the MeT office, humidity in air fluctuated between 49 and 80 per cent.
The MeT department has forecast overcast skies tomorrow.
"Partly cloudy skies and thundery conditions could occur in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 37 and 28 degrees, respectively," the MeT office added.
