An inebriated man vandalised the ticket booking area of Central Railway's Sandhurst Road station Friday evening before being nabbed and handed over to the local police, officials said.
The man broke glass windows at the ticket booking counter and also damaged flower pots kept there, a railway official said.
He also tried to attack Railway Protection Force personnel who arrived at the spot to nab him.
The RPF later handed him over to Dongri police for further action, the official said.
A video of the man, clicked by a commuter there, went viral on social media platforms.
