Munich police say suspect 'terrorism' in shootings: spokesman

Police in Munich said they suspected "terrorism" in a shooting rampage today that left several people dead.

"We suspect terrorism," he said, citing witness accounts. Police have not released an official toll but a police source earlier spoke of "at least six dead".

News agency DPA had earlier quoted police as warning of an "acute terror situation" with three assailants at large armed with "long guns".
