"My husband never committed an illegal act," Aseela Vinod Goenka, wife of Swan Telecom Director Vinod Goenka who is facing trial in 2G spectrum allocation case, today told a Delhi court.
Deposing as a prosecution witness, Aseela told Special CBI Judge O P Saini that she did not know about the decisions of Dynamix Realty, through which Rs 200 crore "illegal gratification" was allegedly routed to Kalaignar TV, as the decisions are taken by its oversight committee.
"I am married since 27 years. It is correct that I do not know about the decisions of Dynamix Realty as the decisions are taken by oversight committee and Conwood Construction and Developers Private Limited is only one per cent partner in that. My husband never committed an illegal act," Aseela, also a Director of Conwood Construction and Developers Pvt Ltd, told the court.
