The Government of Nagaland and the Central Agriculture University (CAU), Imphal today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for establishment of the College of Veterinary Science, Nagaland at Jalukie in Peren district.
The MoU would introduce various courses on Veterinary and other related disciplines in the country with the approval of the Board of Management, CAU, Imphal.
The MoU was signed by Chief Secretary, Pankaj Kumar on behalf of the Government of Nagaland, while the Registrar Dr P Madhusoodanan Pillai signed on behalf of CAU, Imphal, Manipur.
The lease deed was signed between Deputy Commissioner of Peren on behalf of the state government and Registrar, CAU, Imphal on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor CAU, Imphal, yesterday.
