Nagaland Minister for School Education C M Chang today called upon the people to play a role in humanitarian services and assist fellow downtrodden friends.
Addressing the World Red Cross Day celebration organised by Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch here today, he said Red Cross Movement imbues among its members strong humanitarian values and the importance of services to the mankind.
He said the the theme of the day should be one's role of humanitarian network to provide relief.
Essay and painting competitions for school students on the theme of the celebration marked the day.
