National Blind Cricket Tourney: AP thrash Maha by 292 runs

Andhra Pradesh defeated hosts Maharashtra by 292 runs in a T20 match on the opening day of the 24th National Cricket Tournament for the Blind.

The match was being played at Shivaji Park in Central Mumbai.

Electing to bat, Andhra Pradesh scored 380 for none in 20 overs. Venkatesh Rao top scored 279 of 82 balls lacing 40 fours and 18 sixes, a media release issued here said.

His opening partner T Krishna hit 75 of 41 balls.

AP skipper Ajay Reddy grabbed three wickets as they bundled out Maharashtra for a merger 88 in 10.5 overs.
