Sleuths of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized 350 gm of cocaine and arrested a woman here in this connection, officials said Saturday.
The drugs, worth around Rs 17 lakh in the local market was seized from a parcel at Ramhlun Post Office in Aizawl Friday. The NCB officials arrested the woman whose name and address was written on the package from Bawngkawn locality here, they said.
The package containing cocaine was sent by post from Trinidad and Tobago.
The accused was booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and produced before the special judge who remanded her to judicial custody for 14 days, they added.
