Nepal detains 35 couples including Indians for flesh-trade

Nepal police today said that they have detained 35 couples, including some Indians, for alleged flesh-trade in an eastern town.
According to the police, a team led by Inspector Jamuna Kumari had yesterday detained 35 couples for indulging in indecent activities, during a raid at different hotels and lodges in Biratnagar, close to the Indian border.
Most of the men involved are alleged to be New Year revellers from India.

Based on a tip-off, police had stepped up vigil for the past few days around some hotels in Biratnagar.
Police is investigating into the matter, an official said.
