NEPC India appoints two directors on its board

NEPC India Ltd has appointed Shivani Devi as a woman director and N C Agarwal as an independent director on its board.

The decision on these two appointments were taken at a meeting of board of directors on July 29, 2015, the company said in a BSE filing.

Federal Bank launches personal loan scheme for salaried class * Private sector lender Federal Bank has come out with a new scheme which will allow salaried individuals to avail personal loan up to Rs 10 lakh with repayment period extending up to 4 years.

The personal loan scheme - Fed Premia - will be initially available at the bank's branches in seven cities -- Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram, the bank said in a statement today.

Infosys campus in Thiruvananthapuram goes green * As part of its green initiatives, IT major Infosys has created a biogas plant and replaced T5 lamps with LED fixtures at its campus in Thiruvananthapuram.

The initiatives are part of efforts to standardize infrastructure and processes to ensure segregation of waste at all its campuses, a release said.

The biogas plant will convert food waste into biogas, which in turn be used in food court kitchen for cooking, while the LED fixtures, having in-built occupancy sensors, would help conserve electricity, it said.
