New Mizoram Governor Kamla Beniwal to reach Aizwal tomorrow

Newly-appointed Mizoram Governor Dr Kamla Beniwal would arrive in Aizawl tomorrow, official sources said here today.

She would be administered oath of office by Justice T Vaiphei of the Gauhati High Court on behalf of Justice Abhay Manohar Sapre, Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court, on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the incumbent Governor, Vakkom B Purushothaman will be heading to Chennai for a medical check-up and then to his home state Kerala on Thursday, sources added.
