State-owned National Fertilisers today reported an over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 47.04 crore for the quarter ended December 2014.
Its net profit stood at Rs 23.02 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income from operations, however, fell marginally at Rs 2,482.80 crore during the third quarter of this fiscal from Rs 2,485.08 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, NFL said in a filing to the BSE.

In a separate filing, NFL informed that the Nangal Plant has completed 100 per cent urea production as permissible under the Pricing Policy and therfore "the plant shall remain under shutdown upto March 31, 2015."
In the event of any revision in the Pricing Policy, the plant may be restarted based on cost economic, it added.
