The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded contracts worth Rs 3,269.46 crore for development of a stretch on NH 206 in Karnataka, the government said today.
"The NHAI has issued Letter of Award (LOA) for development of Tumkur-Shivamogga Section of NH-206 in the state of Karnataka on Hybrid Annuity Mode," the Road, Transport and Highways Ministry said in a statement.
It said the contract has been awarded for three of the five packages of about 220-km long Tumkur-Shivamogga section.
The value of the three projects is Rs 3,269.46 crore, it said.
