Nickel prices slipped further by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today due to tepid demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market.

However, other base metals held steady in thin trade.

Traders said sluggish demand from consuming industries particularly from alloy-makers at domestic spot market, kept nickel prices lower.

In the national capital, nickel plate (4x4) shed Rs 2 at Rs 804-809 per kg.

Zinc ingot Rs 104-110, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 804-809, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 358, chadri deshi Rs 295.
