Nickel, select copper and brass prices slipped at the the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amid lower demand from industrial users.
At the global market, copper posted modest gains in early trade, after retreating in the previous session, but remained vulnerable to concerns of global oversupply.
Nickel declined by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,125 from Monday's closing level of Rs 1,130.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar moved down by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 467 and Rs 495 from Rs 470 and Rs 498.
Copper armiture, brass utensils scrap and gun metal scrap softened by a Re per kg to Rs 446, Rs 324 and Rs 395, respectively.
