Groundnut oil slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on lower demand from stockists and retailers on the back of good arrivals from the producing belts.
Refined palmolein also eased further owing to subdued demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, castorseeds and castoroil commercial recovered due to renewed offtake from shippers and soap industries.

Linseedoil maintained its stable trend in the absence of large scale demand from paint and allied industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil fell by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 840 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 850 and refined moved down by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 495 from Rs 497.
However, in the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 15 per 100 kg to Rs 4,165 from Rs 4,150 and castoroil commercial added Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 863 as against Rs 860 previously.
Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 760 per 10kg.
