Nicolas Cage, wife Alice Kim are separated

Actor Nicolas Cage and his wife Alice Kim have been separated.

According to the representative of the 52-year-old actor the couple parted ways in January, reported People magazine.

Cage met Kim, 32, in February 2004 when she served him while working as a waitress in a Los Angeles restaurant. They were engaged two months later before tying the knot on a ranch in Northern California.

This is Cage's third marriage, the actor was married to Lisa Marie Presley for almost four months in 2002 before filing for divorce, and, prior to that, to Patricia Arquette for five years.

He also has a 25-year-old son, Weston, from a relationship with model Christina Fulton.
