A 35-year-old Nigerian national was found dead today under mysterious circumstances at his rented accommodation in southwest Delhi's Uttam Nagar, police said.
The deceased, identified as Neely Emeko, had come here last year on a business visa. He was working at a company, they said.
His boss was trying to reach him for the last few days but Emeko was not answering his calls. His boss came to meet him at his residence today, police said.
He knocked on the door several times but did not get any response from Emeko. He peeped through a window and found him lying unconscious on the floor, they said.
Emeko's body was sent for post-mortem and the cause of death would be known after autopsy, police said, adding that he was not keeping well for the last few days and it was suspected that he might have died due to illness.
