No respite as heat wave continues to sweep Haryana and Punjab

There is no respite in sight for the people of Haryana and Punjab as heat wave continues to sweep both the states.

According to the MeT Department, maximum temperatures today again hovered between 41-44 degree Celsius at most places.

Scorching heat was experienced at Karnal, Hisar, Bhiwani, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Jalandhar besides Chandigarh.

The heat wave conditions is likely to continue this week.
