NRL gives Rs one crore to Assam CM's relief fund

The Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) today contributed an amount of Rs one crore to Chief Minister's Relief Fund as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

The Managing Director of the company P Padmanabhan handed over the cheque to chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal at the latter's office chamber in the state secretariat.

The Chief Minister thanked the company for lending its hands towards the state government in tackling the recent waves of flood and other flood induced damages.

Minister of State for Power Pallab Lochan Das, chief secretary V K Pipersenia, director NRL Ravi Capoor, its director (Finance) S K Barua, director (Technical) B J Phukan and other senior officers were present during the handing over the cheque.
