Nursing student commits suicide by jumping off building

A student of a college run by a prominent private hospital here allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the seventh floor of the hospital today, police said.

Police said the incident occurred at around 12.15 pm.

Dhanya Davis, second-year student of the nursing college run by Lissy Hospital, was taken to the hospital soon after the incident but could not be saved.

The girl was said to be in the class till 12 noon, police said.
