Shares of oil marketing companies - HPCL, BPCL and IOC - ruled higher by as much as 4 per cent today as crude prices fell in international markets.
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation rose 3.62 per cent while Bharat Petroleum Corporation jumped 3.40 per cent.
Similarly, Indian Oil Corporation gained 2.29 per cent on BSE.
