'Once Upon a Time' officially renewed for season 5

ABC has renewed fantasy TV series "Once Upon a Time" for a fifth season, just a few weeks ahead of season 4's finale.

Co-creator Adam Horowitz broke the news on Twitter, although a cast member prematurely announced that "Once" had been renewed in April, reported Ace Showbiz.

Last month, Prince Charming actor Josh Dallas let slip to KTLA that they will resume filming the fantasy drama in July.
