One dead as car hits two-wheeler in Krishna district

A man was killed and his brother was injured in a road accident at Munagacherla village in Nandigama mandal of Krishna district this morning.

The victims were riding a moped towards Nandigama when a car hit them, killing one of them on the spot, said Nandigama sub-inspector P Yesubabu.

The deceased was identified as R Smabasiva Rao (48). His brother R Narasimha Rao, native of Chintalapadu village, was severely injured and sent to Vijayawada for treatment.
