The incident took place at Vishanadhapalli village when the boys went to Krishna river and were swept away by the heavy currents, Avanigadda DSP Khadar Basha told PTI.

The victims, studying in Class IX and X, had come to the village with their families to attend Addanki Nancharamma festival, he said.
