A shop owner was arrested for allegedly providing sim cards on forged ids to inmates of the district jail here, police said today.
Last month, authorities had seized 22 mobiles and sim cards from the district jail during raids.
During investigation, it came to light that Siddique used to provide sim cards on forged ids to the inmates. He was arrested yesterday, SP City Santosh Kumar Mishra said.
