One killed as car falls into gorge in Ukhand

One person was killed and two were seriously injured when the car they were travelling in fell into a 100-metre deep gorge in Chamoli district, police said today.

The accident occurred late last night near Narsingh temple at Joshimath when the car was on its way to Chai village and fell.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Joshimath, they said.
